Welcome to Life Pixelated.
A platform to share my camera settings, experiences and tips for getting the best out of photography.
Like all keen photographers; whether you're new to the hobby, a semi-professional or a seasoned professional, there's always something new to learn. Let's not forget that photography is an art form and so interpretation of a scene is what makes your photography uniquely yours. It should provoke feelings and pull onlookers into the world you've created; if only for a little while.
So while I'm on my journey and aspiring to be a thought provoking photographer myself, I thought I'd share my findings. So, if you'd like to follow me step by step, I'll try to explain (the best I can) the things I find out as I go. This will include such things as camera settings, equipment, photography locations and editing tools.
So what do I use?
I use a full format Canon camera with a selection of lenses and a tripod. I'll go into these in detail later, but for now all you will need is any camera. It doesn't matter what type or kind, any camera made within the last 5 years is fine. Phone cameras, compacts it doesn't matter.
Over the next posts, I'll start at the very beginning and explain the important features of any camera including Manual mode, Aperture priority, Shutter priority etc. I'll also add some of my images along the way and detail my settings in each too.
I hope you will join me and discover how awesome photography can be.
